Mounted & Framed

All our prints are Gicleé* fine art quality prints.

A3 size and smaller are produced in-house, using a professional Canon 10-ink printer, high quality 270gsm paper and premium fade-resistant pigment inks. This enables us to have complete colour management of our vibrant original Lucky Number 5 Designs.

We use sustainably sourced (as far as possible) stained wood and glass frames, and FSC paper and card.

Prints larger than A3 are printed externally, using museum quality FSC Enhanced Matte Art paper, and premium fade-resistant pigment inks.

Individually handmade by specialist picture framers, our framed prints have a classic modern square profile and are made from high-quality wood with a satin finish. Glazing is either float glass or glare resistant acrylic plexiglass.

Our snow white picture mounts are 100% acid free FSC certified and of conservation grade.

Not all framed prints need a mount – it’s mostly down to personal preference, but some images really do look better with one. When used, they also help to protect the print by distancing it from the glazing.

All framed prints are delivered to you ready to hang, either with a sawtooth hanger or fully strung.

We don’t use single-use plastic in our packaging and we're all about providing premium products – without the expensive price tags.

If you would like a specific size print which is not listed, or a different style frame, please email us at hello@luckynumber5design.com and we will be glad to assist.

*Gicleé prints are produced by ink-jet printers with pigment based inks (as opposed to dye-based inks) which means they are highly fade-resistant, with a lifespan that can range from 100 to 200 years.

Looking after your prints

  • Position you print out of direct sunlight

  • Make sure the room is well ventilated. (Particularly important if the print is hung in a bathroom).

  • Carefully remove fingerprints and dust with a soft microfibre cloth, avoiding liquid cleaners.

  • Avoid extremes of heat (such as radiators) and humidity, and your print should last a lifetime!
